Garrad Hassan (GH) announces the opening of a new office in Turkey. Garrad Hassan now has offices in 17 countries: Australia (Newcastle and Melbourne), Canada, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Scotland, Spain (Barcelona and Zaragoza), Turkey and The USA (San Diego, Austin, Peterborough and Portland).
Andrew Garrad, Director of Garrad Hassan, comments on this development for the company
“Turkey has a fantastic wind resource, plenty of space and a good industrial infrastructure as well as a high demand for electricity. For these reasons Turkey is now a major centre of wind energy activity for the industry as a whole and, of course, for GH. Our experience throughout the world is that we must have a local office with local staff to provide the best possible service for our clients. In Turkey we have followed the model established for 16 other countries – it is very exciting. We have also produced our WindFarmer software in Turkish to celebrate the launch”
Approximately one hundred litres of petroleum is saved for each ton of recycled glass.
