ABOUT ICCI ENERGY AWARDS
As the first and only award ceremony held every year since 2011 in Turkey, the seventh of the "ICCI Energy Awards" Ceremony, in which the Turkey's best leading energy producing companies are awarded, known as the Oscars of the Turkish energy sector, will be held at Istanbul WOW Convention Center on May 2, 2018.
With the Energy Awards Ceremony to be held together with Gala Dinner for Exhibitors in the evening of the first day of the 24th International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference, ICCI 2018 brings together the Energy Sector in the first week of May this year, in Istanbul.
Designed to support the services and contributions made to the Energy Sector, ICCI Energy Awards, which has become one of the most important agenda topics in Turkey and in the world, is also aimed at promoting projects and services in the future. Within the scope of ICCI Energy Awards, Power Plants and Efficiency projects will be honored.
Within ICCI Energy Awards, which are also granted to support investments in the field of renewable energy in particular, while Wind, Hydroelectric, Geothermal, Biomass and Waste, and Sun projects are competing in the category of Renewable Power Plants, and Natural Gas, Coal and Waste, and Heat projects are competing in the category of Thermal Plants, prizes will be presented to the best of applicants in the category of Efficiency studies in the ceremony. Due to the Best/Most Efficient Main Equipment category added to the award categories in the competition this year, Main Equipment Suppliers of the Plants in the categories of Renewable Power Plants and Thermal Power Plants will be honored.
Applications will be assessed by a scoring system based on the measurable criteria by members of the jury of energy awards, and the application with the highest score in each category will be rewarded.
Authorities from Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Republic of Turkey and EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Authority) and senior public officials, representatives of a large number of academic and non-governmental organizations and leading professionals of the energy sector will attend to the ceremony to be held on May 2, 2018.
